Happy Thanksgiving!

The greater the holiday, the more sadness felt when it ends. I definitely felt pretty lonesome today watching my Uncle Mark, Aunt Yvie, cousins Marie and Colin pile into their van and head home to Michigan.

We had an awesome visit filled with a heated game of spoons, a Black Friday train trip into Center City, the Wanamaker light/organ show, and a Vietnamese feast. I learned that my Uncle speaks Russian under stress. That Yvonne does ALL the driving. That Colin has a shadow named Alex. That Brazil is unfortunately not a part of Europe. Oh, and we can never forget my Uncle treating us all to getting gassed by a horse name Rusty. Woah, Rusty!!!We miss you, Mark, Yvonne, Marie and Colin. I'm thankful for so many things, but especially for this time together and that my kids have such awesome cousin role models! Come again soon!!!!! Next up: Christmas. Fa-ra-ra-ra-raaaaaaa-ra-ra-ra-ra!!!!!!!
